A Section Incharge
Quality Lead Acid Battery Plate Section is responsible for overseeing
the quality control processes and ensuring that all lead-acid battery plates
produced in the manufacturing plant meet the required standards and
specifications. This role typically involves a combination of management, technical
expertise, and attention to detail to ensure that the manufacturing process
operates efficiently, safely, and with a high level of quality.
Roles and responsibilities
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the manufacturing
of lead-acid battery plates complies with industry standards, customer
requirements, and regulatory specifications. - Conduct regular
inspections and audits of the battery plate production process to
identify defects and inefficiencies. - Develop, implement,
and maintain quality control procedures for lead-acid battery plate
production.

team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing training
and guidance to ensure optimal performance. - Assign duties and
monitor performance to achieve the required quality objectives.
- Inspection &
Testing:
- Oversee incoming raw
material inspection and ensure materials used in the battery plate
production process meet quality standards. - Review and analyze
quality test results (e.g., voltage, capacity, cycle life) to ensure
products meet specifications. - Perform root cause
analysis and corrective actions in case of product deviations or quality
issues.
- Process
Optimization:
- Work closely with the
production department to ensure efficient and quality-oriented
manufacturing processes. - Suggest improvements
and implement corrective/preventive actions in case of defects or quality
discrepancies. - Ensure optimal
utilization of resources and reduce wastage in production.
- Documentation &
Reporting:
- Maintain detailed
records of quality checks, audits, and inspections, including test
results and non-conformances. - Prepare and present
regular quality reports to upper management, highlighting trends, issues,
and resolutions. - Ensure that all
production batches have proper quality documentation for traceability.
- Compliance &
Safety:
- Ensure all operations
comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations. - Implement best
practices in health, safety, and environmental standards in the lead-acid
battery plate production section. - Actively participate
in safety audits and training programs to promote a safe working
environment.
