hear is looking for a Customer (Sales) Consultant to further strengthen our sales team here in South Africa.

About the role:

We are looking for highly motivated independent and empathetic customer consultants to grow our business within the South African market. At 4 years old we are a small team with big ambitions: to be THE goto hearing care company in South Africa. Youll be joining our team with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg working in a closeknit startup environment. You will be responsible for guiding your customers through the full hearing care journey from the first step (a detailed telephonic conversation) until they are 100 satisfied with their hearing aids. You will be given continuous coaching support and the tools you need to thrive as we scale our South African business from startup to market leader.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide our customers with detailed telephonic consultations understanding the customers needs and lifestyle
  • Develop individual solutions based on the requirements of the customer
  • Provide knowledge and indepth advice for hearing loss and hearing aids
  • Schedule appointments with customers and our partner providers
  • Build strong trusting relationships with our customers and partner providers
  • Manage your customers journey from end to end following up offering support and troubleshooting until your customer is 100 satisfied with their hearing aids.

Your profile:

  • 2 years experience in healthcare or other consumerfacing sales (e.g. tourism healthcare tech sales)
  • A 3year tertiary qualification
  • Native/Bilingual English and an additional language (Afrikaans advantageous)
  • Previous experience meeting sales targets/goals/KPIs
  • Having the ability to sell while offering empathy and care
  • Structured and able to manage and support a pipeline of 60 customers
  • Sincere willingness to learn grow and adapt
  • Genuine desire to improve peoples lives through sales and customer service
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Authentic positive and likes to have fun at work.
