Im looking for a highly skilled and detailoriented Financial Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. If youre a Chartered Accountant with strong postarticles experience solid retail exposure and a sharp eye for financial control and compliance I want to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse weekly and monthly cash flow to ensure liquidity and budget alignment
Review and approve expense allocations before payments are processed
Oversee the full Creditors and Debtors function
Review and post general ledger entries accurately and timeously
Ensure accurate accounting of income statements and balance sheet transactions including reconciliations
Prepare monthly management reports (Trial Balance Income Statement Balance Sheet Management Accounts)
Analyse income and expenditure against budget providing insights and solutions to mitigate financial risk
Manage SARS compliance and ensure timely submission and payments of taxes
Drive the design and implementation of financial controls and procedures for improved efficiency
Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance
Maintain all secretarial services and regulatory compliance
Oversee the Annual Financial Audit process
Skills & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years postarticles experience
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables VLOOKUP data analysis)
Experience with Imports and Exports
Previous exposure to FMCG Wholesale or Retail industries
Proficiency in SQL Reporting
Experience working with Sage 300
Qualification:
Honours Degree & CA Designation
