Job Advert Summary

TB HIV Care (THC) in existence since 1929 is an internationally recognised nonprofit organisation. TB HIV Care provides health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB including adolescent girls and young women sex workers and people who use . TB HIV Care provides a stimulating work environment and the opportunity to work with leaders in the field of HIV and TB prevention and care. To conduct outreach activities in the PWID community by providing current accurate health information mobilisation of PWIDs to access health services and linkage to care services.



Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 10
  • Peer educators should be ex or current people who have used or injected as they are a peer and have therefore experienced the context and challenges faced by PWID/PWUD
  • Minimum 1 years work experience in the PWID Community or experience as a peer educator
  • Fluent in English and other languages
  • Clear criminal record
