Job Description
ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

The Wolcott Board of Education is accepting applications for the following position:
Title: Special Education Paraeducator
Location: Districtwide
Start Date: As Soon As Hired
Rate: Step 1: $20.24 per hour
Benefits: Per Contract
Closing: Until Filled
Duties:
- Assist students with IEPs in Regular Education Classroom Settings and individual setting as needed (eg. students taking a test in a quiet setting)
- Work with Teachers with teaching/nonteaching instruction
- Clerical/support assistance file and catalog materials
- Assist in the safety and regulation of school rules administrative directives and Wolcott Board of Education policies
- Attend and participate in staff meetings conferences and SchoolParent Teacher Associations meetings as appropriate
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs if necessary
