The Technical Drawing Department is the heartbeat of operations transforming client ideas into precise productionready designs.
Products Designed & Manufactured
- Steel: Racks rails gondolas pegs bars brackets and custom fixtures
- Timber: POS counters display plinths retail units (cosmetics jewellery etc.
Requirements
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a technical drawing role within a manufacturing or shopfitting environment.
- Expertlevel proficiency in SolidWorks 2D & 3D).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to steel and timber.
- Experience creating CNCready programs and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawing & Design
- Translate client renders concept sketches and architectural drawings into detailed SolidWorks models 2D and 3D).
- Generate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) cutting lists and CNC programs for manufacturing.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team player with a proactive and responsible work ethic.

Technical Drawing & Design Translate client renders, concept sketches, and architectural drawings into detailed SolidWorks models 2D and 3D). Generate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cutting lists, and CNC programs for manufacturing. Prepare technical drawings for client approvals and internal manufacturing. Collaboration & Communication Liaise with project managers and production staff to ensure alignment with technical specifications and timelines. Collaborate with fellow draughtsmen to uphold drawing standards and knowledge sharing. Quality & Compliance Verify and quality-check all drawings to ensure compliance with client specs and internal standards. Troubleshoot drawing discrepancies swiftly and accurately. Process & Continuous Improvement Suggest and implement improvements to streamline drawing and manufacturing processes. Contribute to the evolution of departmental best practices and technical drawing standards.
Education
Expert Level on Solidworks Minimum 5 years experience in a technical drawing role within a manufacturing or shopfitting environment. Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks 2D & 3D). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to steel and timber. Experience creating CNC-ready programs and technical documentation.
