About this Job:
QSourcing Limited trading as QSourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Construction Methods Specialist
Project Overview
The EACOP Project (East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline Project) is an EPcmC. 1500km pipeline project across Uganda and Tanzania with a Main Storage Terminal and Jetty in Tanzania.
Job Description Overview
The candidate must be well experienced within the Oil and Gas industry specifically within construction methods precommissioning and commissioning. Knowledge must be of an international setting and a deep understanding of leading oil and gas organizational internal management systems particularly during project transitional stages.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand key risks methods used to mitigate project risks and understand how to develop management systems to address such risk to project and stakeholders
Knowledge and understanding regarding IOGP LSR and the systems which must be put in place to ensure requirements are met
Familiar with and able to support various project disciplines specifically on financed projects
Must be able to develop and deliver specific training programs for further development of personnel specifically in Construction precommissioning and commissioning Quality and Safety management systems
Must be able to develop a Deming process within key disciplines and ensure such processes are implemented

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic:
Tertiary Qualification such the equivalent to a NEBOSH Diploma
Qualification in ISO 31000 ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
Fully conversant with major MS office software
EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
7 10 Years working in developing countries in Oil and Gas in similar role.
Setting up and deploying key management systems in major projects. EPCmC
Fully conversant with envision software systems and implementation
Desirable:
Experience of working in Africa and Major International Oil and Gas projects
Pipeline construction experience as well as offshore and Processing Plant

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cable manufacturing or a similar production environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing machines. Understanding of cable insulation, wiring, and electrical standards. Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance knowledge. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
