Overview
Manage and grow Informits presence in the schools and public library sectors by building strong client relationships developing new business opportunities and coordinating sales efforts to expand Informits reach.
Develop and manage key client relationships coordinate sales strategies and support business growth in the education and research sectors specializing in digital publishing and information management. Collaborative and fastpaced based in Melbournes city campus with opportunities for remote work local and international travel and engagement with a diverse academic and library community.

About the role
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in schools and public libraries using public data.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline in the CRM reporting progress regularly.
Expand Informits reach in international university library networks focusing on North America.
Manage inbound business inquiries and CRM leads.
Travel locally interstate or internationally as needed.
Collaborate with the Head of Sales to execute the sales plan and meet targets.
Work with Marketing to enhance Informits market presence.
As the job title you will:
Drive sales negotiations for Informit Explore in specialized markets.
Manage relationships with large consortia for new sales and subscription renewals.
Engage with prospects regularly meeting KPIs through training sessions and webinars.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships for longterm partnerships.
Develop indepth product knowledge to effectively convey Informits value to clients.
Oversee customer communications within the CRM.
Participate in team meetings sharing insights on market and customer trends.
Work closely with Customer Success to handle accounts licenses renewals and invoicing.
Report key business wins and losses to stakeholders.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven clientfacing sales experience in a related industry.
Highly motivated goaldriven and resultsoriented.
Experience in cold calling and lead validation.
Skilled in presentations public speaking and customer management with keen attention to detail.
Adaptable proactive and analytical with strong commercial acumen and problemsolving skills.
Indepth knowledge of the US and Canadian tertiary library sector.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Outlook).
Valid drivers license with fulltime access to a car.
Willingness to travel interstate or internationally including overnight stays.
