Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies for steel and related materials to ensure quality costefficiency and timely delivery.
- Vendor Management: Identify evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers; conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and raw material pricing to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies industry regulations and sustainability standards in procurement practices.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities cost analyses and supplier performance.
