Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney



Career Consulting Partners has partnered with one of the top largest General Practice & Private Wealth law firms in Los Angeles CA. With over 100 years of history they remain committed to serving clients throughout the West Coast with specialization in a variety of law practices including Trust Administration Estate Planning Corporate Law Tax Strategy and many others. With nearly 1000 years of combined attorney experience they are seeking a mid to seniorlevel attorney with a background in trust and estate litigation to join the team.


DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

The Litigation practice provides an active and vigorous environment supporting trusts and estates litigation to a wide variety of business and civil litigation. While handling matters from investigation and prelitigation through trial and postjudgment proceedings they also search for appropriate solutions and resolutions for their clients.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a midtosenior level Associate in the Litigation group you will be representing individuals fiduciaries public entities and business entities before local state and federal courts. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside other trusted legal advisors and provide clients with clarity and understanding to succeed in a complex world.



DUTIES:

  • Assist in managing all aspects of trust and estate litigation matters
  • Experience negotiating settlement mediation arbitration or motion practice and trial
  • Perform highlevel research and prepare memoranda on complex issues involving probate law fiduciary duties undue influence mental capacity and inheritance disputes
  • Manage client relationships and collaborate with external counsel delivering practical businessdriven legal solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of relevant litigation experience in Trusts & Estates
  • Demonstrated ability to bill 1800 hours per year
  • Experience and ability to support work provided by multiple Partners
  • Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to effectively interact with clients and counsel
  • Active California Bar admission
  • Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Compensation: $165000 $180000
