Job Description: The Florida Everblades Hockey Club and Hertz Arena are seeking a Community Relations Intern to join our team. As a Community Relations Intern you will be responsible for assisting the marketing department in promoting the team and arena within the local community. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic organized and eager to gain experience in the sports industry.
- Assist with planning and executing community events and appearances.
- Collaborate with local schools nonprofit organizations and businesses to organize community outreach initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Assist with the coordination of ingame promotions and activities.
- Create and distribute promotional materials to increase awareness of team and arena events.
- Assist with social media content creation and scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned by marketing department personnel.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated students with a degree in Marketing Event Management or a related field preferably for college credit.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation.
