Overview:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets building and maintaining strong client relationships and expanding market presence within a defined geographical area specifically focusing on the diaper industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance:
- Develop and implement annual sales plans to achieve profit and market share goals.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance analyze sales data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics to drive sales growth.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decisionmakers.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and communication.
- Address client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to build relationships and gather market intelligence.
Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Manage and track sales expenses.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales management preferably in the consumer goods or diaper industry.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
