Job Description

Role: Sales Freight Forwarding

Designation: Senior Executive to Assistant Manager

Location: Chennai

Experience: 35 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in sea air and road freight services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic account management and client acquisition.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver customized freight solutions and quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts pricing and service level agreements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Represent the company at trade shows networking events and client meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain or related field.
  • 35 years of sales experience in freight forwarding logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping INCOTERMS and documentation.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Goaloriented selfmotivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
