Designation: Senior Executive to Assistant Manager
Location: Chennai
Experience: 35 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in sea air and road freight services.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic account management and client acquisition.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver customized freight solutions and quotations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and service level agreements.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Represent the company at trade shows networking events and client meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain or related field.
- 35 years of sales experience in freight forwarding logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of international shipping INCOTERMS and documentation.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Goaloriented selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
