Job Description
1 Prototypedevelopment
2 Duediligence studies such as stability studies and performance evaluation.
3 Qualityevaluation: Analysis and sensorial evaluations of finished product..
4 Ensuredocumentation of prototype formulations raw material stability studies andpilot plant operations.
5 Maintainingof library of competitor products.
Requirements
Hasworked in the area of Personal Care product development and evaluations (usageand product life cycle).
Hashandsonexperience in product development or formulation development prototype developmentand wet chemical analysis related to product and in handling instruments such pHmeter Moisture Analyser Viscometer and other basic analytical instrumentsused in Personal Care.
Has been involved in cosmetic formulation development activities likemaking batches conducting stability and sensorial evaluations etc.
Skills :
Soundunderstanding of the principles of Chemistry process chemistry of Soaps andsolids.
Familiarity with raw materials used in personalcare products and properties
Excellent communication skills (spoken andwritten)
Clarity in thoughts enthusiastic selfdriven andhas willingness to learn
Knowledge of cosmeticpersonal wash bar soaps and home care formulation development wet chemistryand instrumental analysis methods
Knowledge of Surfactantsoleo chemicals and Raw Material functional benefits.
Adequate knowledge on usage of basic IT and statistical tools.
