Job Description
Rheumatologist opportunity in Nashville Tennessee
Wonderful opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals including primary care physicians orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists to ensure coordinated care in a community hospital setting level 3 trauma 150 beds with 560 fulltime employees
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions including arthritis lupus and vasculitis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history clinical findings and diagnostic results.
- Perform joint injections aspiration procedures and other rheumatologic interventions.
- Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatic diseases.
- Manage chronic conditions including diseasemodifying antirheumatic (DMARDs) and biologics therapy.
- Provide patients with education on disease management medication use and lifestyle modifications.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses treatment options and expected outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient care.
Clinical Research and Education:
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in rheumatology.
- Stay current with the latest research treatments and advancements in the field.
- Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents fellows and other healthcare professionals.
