Job Description
St. Augustine Catholic School is seeking a part time latchkey caregiver for theschool year. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to Catholic education. This position involves supervising and engaging with young children ages 313 and hours will be in the afternoon between 2:45 and 4:30 pm.
Candidates should possess the following:
Candidates should possess the following:
- High school diploma or general education degree; must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must obtain and keep current training certifications in first aid CPR communicable diseases child abuse recognition & prevention required by the State of Michigan.
- Must have Criminal Background Check and Fingerprints completed
- Ability to relate effectively to children of all ages (preschool8th grade).
- Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others.
- Ability to problem solve in challenging situations.
Professional Responsibilities Include:
- Promote the mission and vision of St. Augustine Catholic School
- Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Create manage and participate in a variety of activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and maintain learning.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Communicate positively with students parents and staff.
- Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general wellbeing of the school and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body
