This role is based in our new Soho Place office opened in 2023 in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.
The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Tick Analytics Group and provide raw and aggregated time series market data to Research and other relevant Functions within GResearch.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Contributing to the evolution and successful operation of a worldclass trading system for client use
- Designing and building solutions that drive value for our petabytescale data platform
- Continuously exploring and developing solutions to improve data and compute throughput at scale
- Demonstrating software engineering best practices
Who are we looking for
We are looking for the worlds foremost engineers and take recruitment of the best talent very seriously.
Most of our systems are written in Kotlin but we also heavily use C# and Python. We utilise modern web distributed and big data technologies meaning we have a broad range of software engineering challenges for the right person.
