Job Description
- Provide leadership to the development and implementation of Camp Cedarwood ministry programs by supporting equipping and empowering a team of staff and volunteers to accomplish the mission of Cedarwood.
- Develop and lead a team to manage the 5 key departments of the camp (Ministry Property/Maintenance Food Services Hospitality and Administration).
- Ensure that the Camp Cedarwood site is properly stewarded and maintained to fulfill its purpose in accomplishing the mission.
- Work alongside with YFC Senior leadership while giving oversight and direction to all areas of managing and overseeing the camp operations.
- Ensure YFCs mission is supported in all areas of camper and guest interactions year round.
- Actively work to promote and grow the staff and volunteer team at camp.
- Maintain a close intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
- Affirm and support our organizations Community Covenant and Statement of Faith and be committed to YFCs mission.
- Able to live and work in a camp environment during part of the year while being flexible and patient in nature.
- A postsecondary or Bible School education and a minimum of one year of ministry leadership experience would be an asset.
- Embrace YFCs core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
- Strong communication organizational and administrative skills.
- Take initiative pay close attention to details and be willing to adapt.
- Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
