Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed in Santa Maria CA

TheLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)will be a behavioral health navigator and connect students to communitybased services. The LCSWs main responsibilities will include resource development; conducting individual and family assessments; connecting students families and staff with appropriate social emotional and behavioral supports; facilitating education groups for students parents guardians and school staff. They will collaborate with site teams and assist with developing job descriptions policies and procedures.

Responsibilities/ Essential Function
- The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will coordinate social emotional behavioral and psychosocial community services under the general direction of the assigned supervisor.
- Support LPTs by reviewing risk assessments and safety plans providing guidance and attending.
- Responsible for resource development; conducting individual and family assessments; connecting students families and staff with appropriate social emotional and behavioral supports; facilitating education groups for students parents guardians and school staff.
- Aid inrescreening and triage of highrisk students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a current and valid State of California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and must be in good standing.
- Masters Degree
- Experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a school environment preferred.
- Current California Drivers License
- Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID19 Preplacement TB Test Preplacement Physical Examination and Current CPR.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US and must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Successfully pass annual competency checks
- Must approve the request for background and criminal record checks and must be prepared to participate in the drug testing process.
