Overview
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is now accepting applications for a Generalist Speech Pathologist who will be considered for vacancies that become available over the next 12 months.

About the Role
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Speech Pathology the Speech Pathologist will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services appropriate to the needs of the local community. To achieve this the Speech Pathologist works as a member of a multi professional team including health professionals and service providers from other sectors and utilises a combination of preventative early intervention treatment / therapy and evaluation approaches.
At AHP2 level the Generalist Speech Pathologist applies clinical experience increasingly generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan implement and evaluatea comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate to the needs of the local community. The Physiotherapist works under reduced clinical direction and maycontribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals allied health assistants and students.
Eligibility
Please note you will not be required to work across all sites you will have the option to nominate your preferred site(s) upon submitting your application.
This vacancy represents positions that are multiclassed as either a AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
All Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within Speech Pathology profession and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). As a selfregulated progression it is desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australias Professional SelfRegulation (PSR) program.
