Job Description
TB HIV Care (THC) in existence since 1929 is an internationally recognised nonprofit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB including adolescent girls and young women sex workers and people who use . Purpose of the position:
The Enrolled Nursing Assistant will be attached to the Digital Chest XRay mobile clinic to ensure that all clients are screened sputum is collected on the spot followed up and successfully linked to care
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Higher Certificate Auxiliary Nurse or an equivalent qualification as Nursing Auxiliary
- 2 years working experience within a similar environment or any clinical setting
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to conduct fieldwork
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Package
- Fluent in English and isiZulu.
- Willing to travel and work after hours
- Basic TB HIV and adherence
- Experience in working with outreach teams & providing health education
- Experience in working with key populations particularly PWUD beneficial.
- Previous work in the TB environment will be an advantage
