About the Role

Oversees plant and building facilities maintenance including upkeep and preventative maintenance for building outbuildings and grounds. Negotiates with external contractors. Supervises building security function office workers

Your preferred qualifications

  • 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experienced with large scale Facility projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Industrial Electrician/Mechanic License or other equivalent technical certification/diploma
  • Ability to manage and motivate experienced maintenance personnel
  • Well versed in a variety of production equipment (i.e. stamping presses injection moulding machines welders robotics and general assembly)
  • Understanding of PLC controlled equipment
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written/verbal) skills
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize breakdowns rectify the problems with permanent solutions and minimize downtime
  • Be prepared to occasional after hours callin and personnel delegation in crisis situations
  • Familiar with security system and afterhours response support.

Wages: Starting at $45ph

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage parts inventory where it pertains to critical spares min max systems for consumable widely used parts and components.
  • Order replacement parts and spares as required Keep Team informed when ordered and arrived.
  • Manage PM System. Report deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager as required.
  • Modify PM checklists and frequency as required to improve effectiveness of the PM program. Perform regular audits to ensure Team usage and 100 complete.
  • Manage the Annual contracts of the facility contractors where it pertains to the Chillers Towers Compressors Heating and Air conditioning waste water cranes. Switchgear and main electrical feed/capacitor banks Stamping line s conveyor.
  • Ensure Contractor service is scheduled and ontime obtain quotes as required for repairs and open issues are brought forward report to the Team and closed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all Internal and Contractor work completed to support IATF Audits and ISO.
  • Obtain quotes as required for repair and maintenance of facility and related equipment.
  • Request annual working Capital for Facilities and Equipment improvements.
  • Obtain 3 quotes for Capital projects and spare parts. Review details with Manager.
  • Back up the Maintenance Supervisor in his absence
