Pacific Staffing is recruiting a Human Resources Generalistwith strong administrative skillsfor a nonprofit organization in Sacramento.This position is 100 onsite direct hire and a great opportunity to join a mission driven team dedicated to helping the local community.The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR and administrative support including recruitment benefits administration compliance and various other tasks. Pay: $65k$68k DOE.


The ideal candidate will have at least three years of administrative human resources experience with strong technical skills and corporate recruiting.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the full cycle recruitment process including job postings candidate sourcing interviewing and selection.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns providing guidance and resolutions as needed.
  • Administer employee benefit programs including health insurance retirement plans and other benefits.
  • Assist employees with payroll and benefitsrelated inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations including EEO ADA FMLA and other applicable laws.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Communicate and enforce HR policies consistently.
  • Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative human resources position.
  • PHR certification a plus.
  • ADP system experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail task oriented and good with numbers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to assist with recruitment tasks.
