Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will play a crucial role in our sales team by identifying and connecting with potential clients building relationships and driving interest in our alumni portal solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating new opportunities enjoys meaningful conversations and has a knack for understanding client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Data Research Prospecting & Outreach:
- Conduct research to identify target accounts in various industries and key HR decisionmakers based on predefined criteria.
- Execute email campaigns and direct outreach to generate leads and schedule online meetings.
- Qualify leads and assess their fit by conducting outbound calls before passing them to Account Executives.
- Introduce the product through cold calls persuading prospects to attend the product demo.
- Ensure timely followup on leads and maintain accurate CRM records.
Metrics Reporting:
- Meet weekly and monthly KPIs including outreach activities and lead generation targets.
- Prepare and present activity reports to the sales leadership team.
Market Research:
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities in the alumni engagement space.
Expectations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of HRM and alumni program management.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho Freshworks or similar platforms is an added advantage.
