You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailBarnet Youth Justice Service (YJS) is seeking to recruit a passionate and innovative Referral Order Reparation and Volunteer Coordinator who has experience coordinating the statutory Referral Order process in line with Youth Justice Board guidance and legislation.
A key component of the job role is experience of working within the context of the Youth Justice Boards National Standards case management and good practice models which underpin core youth justice practice. In addition to this an understanding of researchbased theories related to children young people and family intervention would be beneficial to working within our holistic and systemic model of practice.
The successful candidate must have experience in recruitment training support and deployment of volunteers working with the Youth Justice Service in a variety of roles including referral order panel members reparation supervisors and intensive supervision and support volunteers.
In view of Barnet Youth Justice Service following a holistic model of practice there is an expectation that Referral Order Reparation and Volunteer Coordinator can evidence sound risk assessment skills and safeguarding knowledge. Barnet Youth Justice Service has developed a strong ethic around multiagency practice and this will require you to be a keen team player who has the ability to work effectively in partnership with other agencies in order to improve the life chances of young people in Barnet and have excellent organisational skills.
