We are presently seeking fulltime Counselor IIIsin our Behavioral Healthcare Division.

This position will perform a wide variety of tasks designed to effect the lasting rehabilitation of patients engaging in our mental health substance abuse and cooccurring programs. These tasks include but are not limited to:

Completion of intake assessments individual counseling group work and support of ancillary activities.

Development of individualized treatment plans consistent with licensing and regulatory agencies guidelines.

Maintenance of accurate comprehensive and timely documentation of service activities interaction with client and client progress.

Collaboration with members of clients treatment team family and personnel of other community agencies actively involved with client to coordinate treatment efforts.

Participation in educational meetings and trainings related to alcohol abuse and mental illness treatment.

Participation in quality assessment and improvement activities to develop and expand the efficiency and quality of Behavioral Healthcare Services.

Must have a Masters degree in Human Services field or related field and two 2 years of experience in substance abuse or related field. Psychology and one year of counseling experience preferred. Local candidates only please.
