WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create develop expand and deploy and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts on Java applications
- Perform manual test case and defect retesting when required
- Plan organize and support test case creation and adaptation around business and internal testing requirements.
- Ability to work interdependently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality.
- Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories.
- Ability to analyse a business requirements and processes from start to finish.
- Create test data reflecting various test scenarios.
- Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
- Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve and / or escalate to the relevant parties.
- Comply with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices.
- Prepare system/technical documentation.
- Provide support for existing solutions.
- Proactive knowledge sharing mentoring and coaching of members from the same or other teams.
- Interpretation of Testing Results and logging of Defects.
- Track new/changed requirements and ensure these are addressed during automated testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and nontechnical colleagues and users.
- Stay knowledgeable of new testing tools and strategies and evaluate the technologies to incorporate into the projects.
- Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager.
Minimum Requirements
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE
- IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in test automation and manual testing
- ISTQB Certification (minimum foundation level) advantageous
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert test automation skills
- Strong manual testing background
- Cucumber framework Selenium box Nexus Repo Git GitHub SQL
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Team Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Java Spring Boot and J2EE
- Angular (Typescript and Javascript)
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
- Karma Postman Restassured SOAP UI
- CI/CD pipelines
- Mavan docker
- Jira confluence
- Rest and SOAP web services
- API Testing
