General Overview:
Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations the Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the Partners eCare Clinical Operations team. Providing input to the overall teams strategy this position plays a leadership role in executing the teams strategic plan to ensure effective communication across functional groups during all states of the project in order to achieve goals on time. S/He collaborates in the areas of Training Organizational Readiness and Clinician Engagement to ensure the operational efficiency of the overall team. Advises team leadership on project timelines finance management issues and human resources activities. Partners with Accenture and Epic resources to ensure adherence to the project plan and to eliminate barriers leading to success of the team.
Responsibilities:
Manages the daytoday operations of the Clinical Operations Team including Training Organizational Readiness Clinician Engagement Stabilization and Optimization.
Responsible for the of strategy governance structure metrics communication and approach for the Clinical Operations team. Reports team progress to VP of Clinical Operations.
Proactively identifies and addresses key risks; conduct risk/benefit analyses on an ongoing basis when necessary
Ensures the coordination of efforts to clear obstacle and barriers to overall success of the team. Escalating to the VP of Clinical Operations as needed.
Advises and informs Partners eCare leadership to aide in decision making and strategic planning.
Collaborates with Partners eCare teams (Applications Training Communications Clinical Deployment etc. to ensure overall approach and goals are being met.
Monitors entities progress and provides updates to Partners eCare leadership on entities strategy and approach.
Develops and implements processes to ensure that adequate resources are effectively utilized and aligned with the overall strategy of the team.
Collaborates with entity leadership to facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation in a timely manner
Collaborates with Partners eCare directors as well as other clinical and operational leaders across the enterprise.
Mentors and helps to develop the careers of team members.

Performs other responsibilities as allocated by the VP of Clinical Operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports; oversees team of 20 people.
Codirects activities for a large number of consultants.
