Job Description
HardHat is looking to hire MIG and TIG welders in the area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review project assignment/instructions from Team Leader
Review drawings and welding details for job
Set up welding machine and other required equipment
Weld assemblies per the required standards
Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
Look for safety issues with equipment and processes
Participate in tier meetings
Requirements:
Proficient in operating all welding and cutting equipment.
Electrical and manual tools (saws squares calipers grinders etc.. All cranes and welding positioners.
Read and understand Robinson detail drawings blue prints and shop travelers
Fluent in English working with written and verbal communication.
Attend continual education for welding process.
High School diploma or GED required.
Professional certification or successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is a plus.
Proven ability to consistently produce high quality and precision welds on all fabricated components.
At least three years welding experience is a must.
