Your DaytoDay:

You dont get to the Senior QS level without knowing the ins and outs of what the role entails so well keep it brief. At Walker Sime youll be:

• Leading Project Delivery: Take charge of projects from inception to completion ensuring theyre delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
• Managing Costs: Providing expert cost management services including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting while managing costs effectively across all project stages.
• Interacting with Clients: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both public and private sector clients understanding their needs and ensuring we exceed their expectations.
• Mentoring: Guiding and mentoring junior members of the team fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Collaborating: Working closely with your colleagues across our Liverpool and Manchester offices contributing to the collective success of our team.

About You:

• Proven Expertise: Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a successful track record of managing projects ideally within a consultancy setting.
• Industry Knowledge: Indepth understanding of various sectors within Real Estate such as museums residential life sciences infrastructure and more with experience in different procurement routes and contract forms.
• Leadership Skills: A collaborative spirit with the ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful outcomes.
• Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field along with membership in a relevant professional body (RICS or equivalent) is highly desirable.
