Job Description
Are you ready to suit up
GardaWorld is looking to hire aQuality Control Mobile Guardto do spotchecks and break relief at various sites in the GTA overnight. You will be provided with a marked vehicle and will travel from site to site to checkin with overnight guards and complete required reporting. This position will be based out of our Mississauga Office.
If you are looking for a night shift where you will be moving from site to site this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
What youll be doing
- Stationed in a vehicle this guard is responsible for trespasser deterrence and access control
- Fire watch duties and the identification of potential hazards to the public and staff on site.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Perform patrols outside the facility including checking multiple buildings fence perimeter etc.
- Deescalate situations involving vagrant individuals reduce risk and protect people and property from such disturbances.
- Deterring and responding to incidents on property
- Completing reports and memo book entries on a regular basis
What were looking for
- Enhanced Reliability Clearance applicants must have 5 years of residency in Canada to obtain clearance
- Valid drivers licence with a clean record
- Valid Security Guard licence and first aid card (CPR level C)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous security experience (asset)
- Above average communication skills (written/oral)
- Sense of observation and responsibility
- Honesty autonomy and very good judgment
