Job Description
Test Analyst with Degree and min 5 years Software Testing and ISTQB / ISEB Certification required for a reputable global company based in Gauteng
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manual Functional Frontend Backend Technical Testing including test scripting and thereof.
- Scripting for automation (ensuring that scripting is done in a manner that is ready for handover to automation).
- Regression Security Reliability Performance Path and Condition API Maintainability Negative Portability Testing.
- Mobile testing multiple device testing multiple browser and multiple OS testing.
- Accessibility Testing in terms of the Americans with Disabilities Act and screen reader (ADA).
- Static and Dynamic analysis.
- Test Case/Script creation and analysis (including Technical Test Cases).
- Identification Extraction/Creation/Modification Sanitation & Anonymization of Test Data for different test scenarios.
- Defect management defect capturing on JIRA and defect workflow adherence related to testing.
- Test Tools include JIRA Xray Confluence Jenkins Postman SOAPUI IntelliJ IDE BrowserStack and axeMonitor
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- Java and AWS knowledge.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- Modelling techniques and methods.
- Understanding of integration between different technologies.
- Coordination between development and support environments.
- Risk Identification Assessment and Mitigation.
