The Indiana University School of Public HealthBloomington SPH B) invites applications for an openrank non tenuretrack (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor) faculty position in the Department of Applied Health Science. The SPH B seeks individuals who will contribute toward academic excellence in teaching in support of our mission of preventing disease and promoting the health and wellbeing of individuals families and communities. This 10month appointment would ideally start August 1 2025. Applications received by November 30 2024 will receive full consideration and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The SPH B is located on the flagship campus of Indiana University and is comprised of over 200 faculty across five departments. Continuing the momentum of hiring over 60 outstanding faculty over the last three years the SPH B is launching another wave of faculty recruitment. The Department of Applied Health Science unites a multidisciplinary faculty with expertise in social and behavioral science applied to health; nutrition and dietetics; opioids addictions and substance use prevention; sexual and reproductive health; human development and family studies/youth development; safety/total worker health/injury prevention; maternal and child health; and global public health all pursuing the common goal of preventing disease and promoting the health and wellbeing of individuals families and communities.
