Job Description
USAM DC is a leading manufacturer of architectural woodworking and custom cabinetry products serving the DC commercial construction industry.
We are seeking a Finisher to join our growing team!
We offer a great working environment and room for career advancement.
Overtime is required depending on work load.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the finishing on the completed product per the customers specifications.
- Apply finish/paint efficiently while maintaining quality standards by hand or using a spray gun.
- Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sands between coats of finish.
- Maintain clean work area by sweeping and setting tools and items in their place.
- Detail oriented catching any flaws before product leaves the shop.
- Knowledge of mixing colors
- Ensures quality of finish
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in millwork and finishing
- Skilled use of paints
- Experience working in an AWI custom shop
