Mechanical Design Engineer Hydraulics
Location: Houston TX Salary: $100K Travel: Up to 25
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team focused on hydraulic systems and heavy equipment solutions. This is a handson role ideal for an entry to midlevel engineer with a passion for design field service and problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic power units pumps and motors for offshore applications.
- Create technical models layouts and detailed drawings using CAD software.
- Apply engineering principles to stress analysis material selection and system performance.
- Work closely with project teams and leadership to execute designs and troubleshoot challenges.
- Travel up to 25 based on project needs.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited program.
- 24 years of experience in design engineering or field service (hydraulics preferred).
- Familiarity with pressurecompensated hydraulic systems for lifting and heavy equipment.
- IFPS or EIT certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of GD&T ANSI ASME ASTM standards.
