Job Purpose:
Perform functions to build and inspect company products working with units or parts while following established procedures in a team environment. Support production processes through the supply and/or disbursement of materials and parts within the department.
Shift: MondayThursday 7:30pm6:00am
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide saws Lasers and sheet metal cell with specified materials in accordance with Life Fitness Standard Operating Procedure.
- Unload steel trucks and receive materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain steel storage area in an orderly classified system to ensure both the availability and accuracy of the inventory.
- Assist as needed in the replacement of coolant drums at coolant stations.
- Assist as needed in the movement of boxes or pallets of parts within the department to the appropriate work cells.
- Assist as needed in running a machine based on skill set.
- Cycle count materials as requested by department supervision.
- Maintain and recommend appropriate stock of steel.
- Responsible for proper and timely disposal of any boards straps or paper from material bundles.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the steel storage area.
- Cooperate and participate with other mfg. associates in the orderliness and cleanliness of the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Required
- At least 6 months experience sit down forklift required
- At least 6 months experience overhead crane experience required
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Ability to follow to safety instructions
- Detail Oriented
Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of fabrication equipment and process
Working Conditions:
Requires lifting of 35 lbs. occasionally hand/eye coordination ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to walk bend over and turn consistently and repeatedly. Will also involve repetitive motion. Work area can be noisy.

Your base wage will be between $21.00 $25.50 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications experience location and other relevant factors. Youll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics.
