About the Role:
Ambition 24 Hours a leading medical staffing agency in South Africa is looking for a flexible and experienced Clinical Facilitator to join our dynamic team in Durban. This is an hourly role offering the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery across private public and homecare settings.
As a Clinical Facilitator youll be responsible for conducting training inductions care plan reviews and risk assessments ensuring our nursing staff maintain the highest levels of competence and care. This role is perfect for a confident healthcare professional who thrives in a peoplefacing handson role and enjoys working in different environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit client sites regularly (private hospitals public facilities and homecare environments) to ensure clinical standards are maintained.
- Conduct staff inductions and ongoing training to ensure compliance and clinical excellence.
- Support and mentor nurses and carers in the field.
- Complete documentation and reporting to support quality assurance and compliance.
- Review and update care plans to reflect patient needs and best practices.
- Assess risks and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and staff.
- Manage and prioritise tasks independently with excellent administrative followthrough.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailoriented with a passion for quality care
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proactive in identifying issues and implementing improvements
- IT literate and comfortable with digital systems
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in training mentoring or facilitation
Desired:
- Postbasic qualification in Nursing Education or specialised care (e.g. ICU Theatre Emergency)
- Experience as a workplace assessor or peer mentor
