Job Description

Leverage your broad medical knowledge and versatility in our Clinic Physician position at the world class Greenbrier Clinic located in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia. A leader in Executive Healthcare since 1948 The Greenbrier Clinic offers executives and their families access to high quality medical care in a luxurious setting.

We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Family Medicine Physician or a BoardCertified Internal Medicine Physician with exceptional knowledge professional skills and a caring friendly ability to provide a high standard of primary and continuing medical care to our patients.

This position will work primarily with our Concierge Medicine and our Executive Health programs. The perfect family medicine physician or internal medicine physician must be comfortable working as a team with ancillary staff and is willing to abide by The Greenbrier Clinics standards and protocols. If you practice excellent communication and have a high level of detail orientation in an outpatient clinic environment this position is for you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Practice active listening and excellent communication skills with patients their families and all staff addressing patient concerns as the highest priority
  • Conduct routine adult physicals and respond to patients medical/health concerns by referring to their history and carrying out investigation diagnosis treatment and referrals as appropriate
  • Contribute to the delivery of patient services with other physicians and supportive staff as a team in order to collaborate on diagnoses
  • Collect record and maintain patient information such as medical history reports and examination results and document treatments on digital charting software adhering to the Greenbrier Clinics medical charting standards including ongoing progress notes and test results
  • Discuss sideeffects best conditions for use and possible interactions of medication
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition exercise and hygiene

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

Current MD or DO licensure in the state of West Virginia

Excellent communication and problemsolving skills patience and empathy

Excellent patient management skills

Integrity and strong professional code of ethics

Preferred:

Experience in a direct care clinic setting
