Job Description

Washington Central Unified Union School District is looking for experienced Special Educator with strong collaborative skills to work closely with other educators students and families to provide the special education services and supports with learners in grades K6. Candidates must have a strong background in CCSS specialized literacy math instruction and/or strong background in supporting students with socialemotional needs. Candidates must be able to work creatively and collaboratively to create an environment that invites respect for all persons relate a sense of fairness and practice commitment to inclusion and diversity. Candidates must be:Enthusiastic and studentcenteredCommitted to educating and supporting all studentsKnowledgeable in and ability to deliver Special Education services including literacy math and social skillsKnowledgeable in and ability to interpret assessment information and provide direct instruction and case managementKnowledgeable of Vermont Special Education Rules and RegulationsSkilled in proficiencybased instruction and assessment andLicensed or eligible for licensure by the State of VT with Special Education endorsement
