Job Description

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Heart and Vascular Institute is currently seeking a qualified NonInvasive General Cardiologist to join our faculty.This position requires excellence in clinical cardiology with opportunities to work in an established and expanding practice with growth opportunities.Candidates should be focused on providing high quality patient care with interest in building a robust clinical practice in diverse hospital and community settings. Job duties include: community based general cardiology coverage in both the inpatient and outpatient setting in the greater Pittsburgh region including cardiology consultative services critical care services ECG analysis interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms and performance and interpretation of transesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac nuclear studies. These duties will be performed in rotation with other cardiologists within the practice. Afterhours and weekend cardiology coverage will be shared among the group.Qualifications:Candidates must be board certified or board eligible.Licensure Certifications and Clearances:Candidates must be qualified for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
