Event/Race Crew assists in all aspects of competition production for both the NorthstarRace & EventDepartments. The crew will interact with external production staffs and other internal departments with the highest level of safety efficiency and service in accordance with this departments strict standards for competition facilitation. For all events the crew will be responsible for making sure the course and special events are set up in a neat and presentable manner. As a customer focused organization a crucial part of each employees job is to get and keep guests.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Event setup from preevent planning through event construction and post event tear down
• Coordination with internal and external contacts
• Course setting safety equipment set up and timing set up
• Maintenance of race coursesslipping raking shoveling gate and safety equipment repairs
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly oftenwhile skiing/snowboarding
• Shovel snow on a regular basis
• Provide great customer service to all of our guests
• Assist with other department activities as requested
• Maintain and organize onhill equipment in a professional manner with an emphasis on safety and guest service
• Assist onEpicMix Race Venue

Requirements:

• Flexibility in scheduling
• Expert skiing/snowboarding experience
• Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language
• Some nighttime work and the ability to work safely on and around machinery and scaffolding at all hours
• Long hours outdoors in the elements in theservice of racing and event production
• Familiarity and experience with all uses of power and hand tools

Preferred Skills:

• USSA Membership with an Officials certification
• Experience working with another race department or event production crew
• Previous experience with race timing equipment
• Experience in course setting and course security equipment installation
• In person interview
• Ability to operate onsnow machinery: Snowmobiles snow blowersand perhaps snow cats
• Previous resort experience
• Computerknowledge
