Job Description
Mitchell Technical College is seeking a Power Line Construction and Maintenance instructor to join the Mitchell Technical College (MTC) Team. The position is open until filled.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have Journeyman certification
- Minimum of three years of experience in the industry
- Diploma in Power Line Construction & Maintenance required Associate of Applied Science Degree preferred.
- Pass a state and federal criminal background check.
Preferred Skills
- Passion for training with a high level of integrity honesty and professionalism.
- Experience with installation maintenance and repair of electric power control equipment transmission lines distribution lines and/or electric generating equipment.
- Communicate effectively master change work in groups and have strong customer orientation.
The Instructor will be responsible for:
- Teaching assigned courses; assessing student progress in classroom laboratory and field settings; developing and updating curriculum; and assisting with recruiting and advising students.
- Leadership in both academic and workforce areas to fulfill the educational goals and objectives of the Power Line Construction and Maintenance program and MTC.
