Job Description
Applications are invited for the parttime positionAdjunct Instructor of Mathematicsstarting in August 2024 at Virginia Wesleyan University. APh.D. or Masters degree in Mathematics Statistics or other closely related area is preferred. Candidates with a Masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics or Statistics will be considered. Experience in teaching collegelevel mathematics is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach lowerlevel mathematics classes. (Introductory Statistics College Algebra or Precalculus)
- Comply withFERPA regulations.
- Coordinate with Academic Support Services as needed.
- The department will provide syllabi and other course materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Masters with at least 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
