Job Description
This position is part of the Counseling & Instruction/Student Development Division (general career transfer disabilities instruction).

Desirable Qualifications
Demonstrated success in helping students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups nontraditional students speakers of other languages and students with learning disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in counseling rehabilitation counseling clinical psychology counseling psychology guidance counseling educational counseling social work career development marriage and family therapy or marriage family and child counseling OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom. NOTE : A bachelors degree in one of the listed degrees and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist MFT is an alternative qualification for this discipline.
