Topa Career Opportunity
Topa is looking for a motivated Janitorial Supervisor to join our team on a fulltime basis in Esterhazy and Rocanville! The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to supervise and clean at the Potash Mine sites.
Position Title: Janitorial Supervisor
Location: Scissors Creek Nutrien /Mosaic Esterhazy
Start Date:Immediate
Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities to supervise delegate and schedule the following tasks (stepping in to clean as required):
Clean Lobbies restrooms offices walkways ramps and stairways of buildings
Sweep scrub. Wash and polish floors and clean rugs
Dust furniture wash walls
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
Empty waste and transport to disposal area
Replenish bathroom supplies
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
Ability to work independently
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Problem solving Skills
Ability to Multitask
Ability to manage workers in a professional matter
Must be available to always be on call
Schedule work and delegate work
Ability to work under pressure
Enforce safety requirements
Effective communication skills
Must be able to efficiently operate computers and cell phones
Must be able to take direction from direct reports
Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
Must have valid class 5 drivers license
