GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
As Territory Sales Manager for Life Science SBU you will focus on business development prospecting and of sales against target. In addition you will work closely with Ansells regional sales team to deliver LifeSciences solutions to the Indian Pharmaceutical and LifeScience market.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- You will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of their territory for the complete line of Ansell and BioClean LifeSciences portfolios.
- This includes but is not limited to Cleanroom gloves Garments Goggles Wipes and accessories.
- Using Sales force you will prospect for new customers and qualify leads whilst managing overall business relationships with established accounts.
- You will provide technical customer support (e.g. SOP recommendation Documentation prep and training of all products and applications.
- You will work collaboratively with the Industrial regional sales team to facilitate advise and close LifeScience account wins.
- Analyse the territory/market potential and evaluate sales reports on a routine basis
- Supply management with reports on customer projects needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products.
- Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends
- Continuously improve through feedback from management
- Represent Ansell in a professional and ethical manner
- Travel up to 5075 to support sales activities
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- BSc. in Microbiology Chemical engineering Chemistry or any adjacent Life Science discipline
Job Experience:
- 9 years of technical sales experience technical support or laboratory experience is preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Competencies:
- Detailed planning and organization skills.
- Familiarity with CRM practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently. A combination of expert troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are the keys to success in this position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
