Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detailoriented Accountant to head our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of Indian accounting standards GST TDS statutory compliances and handson experience in accounting for a jewelry manufacturing company. The candidate should be capable of leading a team and handling the entire financial operations of the company independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the complete accounts team
Oversee daytoday accounting operations and finalization of accounts
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST TDS Income Tax etc.
Filing and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR1 GSTR3B GSTR9 etc.
TDS calculation deduction payment and quarterly returns (Form 26Q 27Q)
Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
Handle statutory audits internal audits and tax assessments
Monitor and manage cash flow receivables and payables
Coordinate with banks CA CS and government authorities
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of records
Implement and monitor accounting standards as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
Contribute to cost control and budgeting
Provide financial insights and analysis to management
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Qualification:
CS (Company Secretary) level knowledge preferred / CA Inter / M / MBA in Finance
Experience:
57 years in accounting minimum with minimum 3 years in a jewelry company (preferred)
Strong understanding of industryspecific accounting practices
Skills:
Deep knowledge of GST TDS Ind AS and other Indian tax laws
Leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime ERP etc.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
Strong communication and reporting skills
