Job Description
POSITION STATUS:Permanent PartTime 0.8 EFT)
CLASSIFICATION:Life Style Assistant (Qualified Or unqualified)
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No qualification required for Grade 1 Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant
- Certificate IV Leisure & Health must be completed to increase to a Grade 2;
SELECTION CRITERIA
ESSENTIAL:
- Proven Organisational and Interpersonal Skills.
- Demonstrated ability to organise work according to the competing priorities at hand such as program provision and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to selfdirect as required.
- Excellent time management skills.
- To have recent experience as a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant
- Knowledge of Manual Handling Occupational Health & Safety and Infection Control Procedures and Guidelines.
DESIRABLE:
- Drivers licence would be of benefit (or willingness to acquire same).
- Desired relevant certificate as a Health Care Worker (Aged Care).
