About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant you will work as part of our Hotel Services team to assist with resident food services and provide a positive food service experience.
Daily tasks include assisting with the preparation delivery serving and cleaning up of meals and food areas. Tasks are conducted in accordance with individual residents dietary requirements and preferences. Clear and concise written and verbal communication will assist with accurate and timely reporting and documentation and responsibilities will be carried out in line with health and safety food hygiene and cleaning standards regulations.
Reporting to the Catering Coordinator this role will work along the Chef Team Leader ESC and other food and environmental staff to achieve a positive dining experience for consumers.
This role works on a sevenday roster from Monday to Sunday. There are day and afternoon shifts with the hours of work between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Opportunities exist for casual or part time employment up to 72hrs/ fortnight.
