Job Summary About the Role
Assist with enhancing the physical appearance and experience of the Park District for residents and visitors to our parks and facilities.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
This position is well suited for someone with a pleasant personality. Must be reliable and show initiative tact and productivity.
Required: High school graduate. Must be 18 years old. Must be able to learn the proper use of hand tools grounds equipment and operation of trucks tractors utility carts and riding mowers. Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays during games and events. A valid drivers license is required. Must have or obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification and Mandated Reporter certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Parks and Planning the Assistant Superintendents of Parks and the ESSC Turf Coordinator the Seasonal Parks General Maintenance Associate ESSC are responsible for promoting a safe environment in all parks and facilities. The Seasonal Parks General Maintenance Associate ESSC shall complete their assigned duties to the best of their abilities offering suggestions of better ways to accomplish jobs and be ever mindful of the best interests of the St. Charles Park District and of fellow employees.
